What about Snickers Charged (limited edition). I just bought 4 at the book store for $0.50 each. It advertises caffeine, taurine and B-vitamins.

Ingredients:
Milk chocolate, Peanuts, Corn Syrup, Sugar, Milkfat, Skim Milk, Vegetable Oil, Chocolate, Taurine, Lactose, Salt, Caffeine, Egg Whites, Vitamins, Vitamin B6, Biotin, Vitamin B-12, Artificial Flavor.

Opps, one quick search shows you got it already… still not in the above chart though…

Dario May 22nd, 2008 8:09 pm

How much caffeine, if any, would be found in a basic “box” type chocolate cake mix (ie. Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines)? Also, how much , if any, caffeine would you find in an average ready made chocolate icing that goes on top of cakes?

Thanks,

dario

LOL, I just sent the beverages page to my GF via E-mail. She’s been after me because she thinks I drink too much Pepsi (3 cans a day or 114 mg) but yet she drinks coffee in the morning without fail.

I was actually surprised at how little caffeine my Pepsi has in it.

Sara July 8th, 2008 8:44 am

I have the same request.

I would also love a list of all foods that contain caffeine.

EBOOST gives me a great healthy lift of energy with no crash and tons of great vitamins and amino acids, i have tried every product, coffee, energy drink and now even energy candy bars which are quite disgusting and loaded with fat, sugars and artificial flavors…EBOOST is by far the healthiest, best tasting and supreme product i have put in my body…….

Guitarwizard, banning caffeine will accomplish NOTHING but an increase in the prison population. The prisons are overpopulated because the government ships the illegal drugs in and uses their agents to ensnare pot buyers so pot buyers get arrested and thrown in what these days amounts to a concentration camp. People like you make me support the decriminalization of illicit drugs. I’m not calling for blanket legalization. I’m calling for decriminalization. The American judicial system is stupid. Only in a stupid judicial system would a pot smoker get 5 years in a maximum security prison just for smoking pot.

Everybody needs to watch a documentary called “American Drug War: The Last White Hope” by Kevin Booth. It shows how stupud the “drug war” really is. How can Americs expect to win the “war on drugs” when they can’t even win the “war on terror” or the “war on poverty” or the “war on illiteracy”? The U.S. government created the crises so they can have these phony wars which only take away our constitutional freedoms.

I took notes. I want to convince my daughter that this stuff is toxic. At 17 she way overdoes it. In my case, I stopped it cold turkey, and then tested the waters again later. It isn’t worth it. The stuff caffeine triggers, even as small as in chocolate, isn’t worth it. While you’re at it, aspartame is another villian. look up and see if any of their 92 symptoms explain yours. We gave that up next, and feel about 15 years younger between the two.

[...] short. They claim that “3 Penguins are the caffeine equivalent of 1 cola beverage,” yet Energy Fiend again shows us the light and states that each mint only has 7 milligrams of caffeine. If you want [...]

[...] they have had the caffeine content tested by a third party, and sure enough, our friends over at Energy Fiend show that yes, Buzz Bites contains a WHOPPING 100 milligrams of [...]

Caffeine isn’t nearly as neurotoxic as glutamate, a flavor enhancer that the FDA allows companies to NOT disclose on their labels. Did you know that there are over 75 ingredients that contain various amounts glutamate such as CITRIC ACID and NATURAL FLAVOR (ever wonder why Pepsi tastes so damn good?). Did you know that the FDA considers glutamate (including MSG, which contains 78% glutamate) as natural and GRAS (Generally regarded as safe). If it’s so safe, then why do companies hide it on the label!?!? Shame on the FDA for allowing companies to cheat! We should all be fed-up and angry at them. Could you send me a complete listing as well… My daughter (now 2 yrs) needs to stay away from all caffeine related products… do you know how hard a list is to find!! :) Thanks.

Darth Chaos September 10th, 2008 9:03 pm

guitarwizard is probably either a DEA agent or a shill for the DEA/CIA drug-runners.

rahul September 13th, 2008 5:15 am

great list. very detailed, and helped me a lot with my project on caffeine

Alyssa September 20th, 2008 4:34 pm

I know yerba mate has a relative of caffeine, matteine (from what I’ve read on some ingredients) and I’d be interested to know how it compares to other caffeinated drinks. I also didn’t find green tea on your site.

Caffine started bothering me years ago so I slowed my intake. I still have a weakness for Dr. Pepper. When will Dr. Pepper go caffine-free? I’ve been waiting. Later.
